I'm so psyched for Taylor and Trisha's wedding. My favorite bike mechanic/rider and all-around great person who seems to know everybody and Trisha Mae, an artist who just glows with a passion for life and eclectic style—These two happen to love each other. I am honored to photograph their wedding next weekend. I insisted that we have an engagement session. They showed up on the first cool weather evening of September 15 with custom built bikes and dressed to kill. I love these two! Congratulations!

Josh and Meggin are two great friends from nearly a decade ago from Portland, Oregon. They now live in New Hampshire. I was so thrilled to get a call from them announcing their October wedding in beautiful Tyson, Vermont. What a gorgeous setting for two wonderful people. It felt remarkable to be reacquainted so far East after so much time for such a momentous occasion as their wedding day. They just glowed! I was honored for them to keep me in mind all these years.

Lunar Activity

Click on Image. I took these photos last night. This is not typically a photographer's favorite time of year to take pictures in Pennsylvania. The landscape is dull and barren looking during the day, vegetation is dead. Luckily, The moon is one of my favorite subjects to photograph, as it is simply reflecting the light from the sun. During an eclipse, this is an especially dramatic effect. I grew to appreciate this form of entertainment while living in Alaska photographing the aurora borealis.

Because the moon was nice and bright I was able to hand hold my camera with a 200mm lens. For those who care, My shutter speed was 125th of a second at f5.6. on 100 iso.
