Click on Image. I took these photos last night. This is not typically a photographer's favorite time of year to take pictures in Pennsylvania. The landscape is dull and barren looking during the day, vegetation is dead. Luckily, The moon is one of my favorite subjects to photograph, as it is simply reflecting the light from the sun. During an eclipse, this is an especially dramatic effect. I grew to appreciate this form of entertainment while living in Alaska photographing the aurora borealis. Because the moon was nice and bright I was able to hand hold my camera with a 200mm lens. For those who care, My shutter speed was 125th of a second at f5.6. on 100 iso.
